Hey, Vogue, it's Madison Bailey

and I'm gonna show you guys my everyday skincare routine

and my go-to glam look. [gentle music]

First thing I'm gonna do is set the vibes.

I light a little candle, [lighter clicking]

then I'm gonna spray a little room spray.

[spray hissing]

Now I'm gonna wash my face,

which I'm going to use my little cuffies.

Got 'em on Amazon.

Just keeps water from going all over my arms. [chuckles]

I don't like to pinch the top of my curls

'cause that's like the first part to flatten.

So I always like try to clip a piece underneath.

[object thudding]

And I do about two pumps. [pump hissing]

My skin's not super sensitive so I love trying new products.

I try to just do like the bare minimum,

something I'm definitely gonna stick to and not forget

and not be lazy about.

And after like long days on set,

it's a minimum of skincare routine twice a day.

Next I'm gonna apply a toner.

I use this Laneige one.

It's super hydrating.

I feel like a lot of times the toners

is stuff that dries your face out.

I think I started putting together a skincare routine

after I had already started Outer Banks

and was a little bit out of necessity.

I was just in the sun a lot more than I typically was before

and my skin was drier.

And I'm also just getting a little older.

I'm gonna do serum, double serum and I'll mix them together.

Then do moisturizer,

then I'm gonna mix this with little sunscreen

that and just mix the two.

I really started prioritizing sunscreen

while filming Outer Banks.

'cause just the sun exposure on a daily basis was a lot.

And I'm gonna do eye cream.

And when we're gone filming

for about six or seven months,

so any type of TLC is so needed

and a long bath after work

can really go a long way. [chuckles]

I'm gonna cover these with some little eye patches.

I like to apply the eye cream

underneath the eye patches

just so it's really like twice as efficient.

I'm gonna go lip mask

and I let this sit while I do my makeup.

And I feel like by the time it's time

to put on my lip liner and my lip gloss,

my lips are like, this is absorbed and like perfect timing.

Then I like to Gua Sha,

really get the lymphatic drainage.

[gentle music]

I think it's good to stick to a routine,

even if it's something that's five, 10 minutes

that you're just giving yourself

and dedicating that time to yourself,

no matter how busy your day is.

Time for makeup, [gua sha thudding]

I'm gonna sanitize for really no reason.

My hands aren't dirty, [laughs] but it's a mental thing,

like I have to sanitize before I do my makeup, I dunno.

My brows have seen it all.

I started waxing when I was like 12

and then they got really, really thin.

By high school, I had nothing

and I just let them keep growing out. [chuckles]

And now I'm the only person who touches my eyebrows.

But they aren't like the most even,

this one's definitely higher.

So I try to like even them out with products.

So I'll like emphasize the arch more on this one.

And then I'll like fill in lower on this one.

Anastasia pencil.

I like to brush them down

just in case the brow gel doesn't hold anything.

See like it's all brushed down

and it still looks filled in there.

And then I just brush everything back up.

Next eyeshadow, take this Merit. Single shadow.

I'm the youngest of seven

and four of us are girls.

I learned how to do makeup from my older sisters,

like one sister straightening my hair

and then the other one providing my eyeliner.

I was, it was giving, [chuckles]

I take this palette,

I'm gonna do this color here.

Moving on to eyeliner.

I'm gonna take this black.

[gentle music]

I feel like once we wrap filming,

I take like a week to let my skin breathe.

But I'm typically really excited to get the time

to do my makeup again.

So I'm like back into it pretty quickly.

And then I just like to connect a little right here.

Now I'm gonna take a pencil liner

and tight line, just the top.

I'm gonna curl the lashes.

It really does make that big of a difference.

Mascara.

Eyes are done.

Next I'm gonna take a primer.

I like this one, it's Gucci.

I feel like it's just like a little bit of luxury again.

Look of feel good.

I'm so excited for y'all

to see this season of Outer Banks.

It was so much fun to film.

Had a little bit of time in between filming

to work on some music

and my first single's out,

which is something I literally never thought would happen.

I was honestly really indecisive

of what song to release first.

And it's my dad's favorite song

and my nieces and nephews favorite song.

So that definitely helped sway my choice.

And I'm gonna mix my foundations for shade match mostly.

Patrick Ta, Pat McGrath.

This is the lighter of the two

and then the darker of the two.

Next I'm gonna spot conceal a little.

I like to put everything on the back of my hand.

I can really control how much product you're using.

I grew up listening to everything.

I'm from the south.

I listen to country.

My dad exclusively listens to rock

and also like the Pitch Perfect soundtrack.

He has that on CD

and he will play that in the car any chance he gets.

It's actually really cute.

Foundation time. Back to this.

If I'm in the sun for five minutes,

I'm a completely different shade.

My foundation drawer is stocked with so many colors,

it's ridiculous.

And I almost always have to mix them to,

to get it just right.

I really love bronzer.

It's one of my favorite steps.

Brush Patrick Ta brush.

It's like perfect for contour

who I feel like some of the best advice

that I've gotten is like with my contour.

Just trial and error

and figure out how to contour your own face.

So a TikToker said don't go all the way down your nose,

just stop halfway.

That's helped.

And if it's not perfect, it doesn't matter

'cause we're gonna carve it out with concealer

and then it'll be perfect.

Blush. I use this hourglass one.

You have to shake this every time.

Big fan of cream products.

I feel like they blend better

and it just keeps the face looking so alive.

And sometimes I need that.

Sometimes I really don't get no sleep.

The concealer is the set that that makes the whole look.

And then I'm gonna leave that center line to set for a sec.

Then I'm gonna blend.

I love going to the fashion shows.

And Tommy Show was so sick.

I took my sisters a plus one.

She had the best freaking time.

And hopefully like over the course

of many more fashion shows,

I'll be able to take one sibling at a time. [chuckles]

They only give you a plus one.

And I'm plus six.

Little concealer.

Then I'm gonna go on powder.

Blend, blend, blend and then set. Immediately.

I really only set under the eye.

And then I'll bring a little bit of the powder

and set my smile lines.

And then I just set the cheek with a powder blush.

And there's only one blush that I use.

I've put a good dink in it.

Now that the concealers that I'm gonna do bottom mascara.

And next I'm gonna take highlight.

I only put it on the nose.

And then this is when we're going to put it

on top of the straight line that we made with the concealer.

It's gonna look even from every angle.

I've had this highlighter for years.

One of like the first Mac products I bought

and I barely made a dent in it

'cause that's the only place I highlight.

I'm a liar. Now I'm done.

And now that we're done with all of the powders,

you can set the brow.

[gentle music]

And then now I'm gonna take

this little Glossier brow pen thing

and I'm gonna dot over my freckles

that I covered with makeup.

And then I'm gonna take a little bit of powder.

And last but absolutely not least, lips.

This one's in She's Strong.

Gloss, this is my current fave.

It's the Iced Coffee one.

Smells incredible.

I swear by this.

It makes the skin look incredible.

Last step.

I don't wear the same perfume even two days in a row.

Most of the time.

This is my final look.

This was so much fun.

Thank you so much, Vogue.

Bye. [lips smacking]

[gentle music]
