Let Paris Hilton Teach You How to Make Her “Sliving” Strawberry Bundt Cake
Released on 11/20/2023
Sliving in the kitchen. Loves it.
[gentle music]
Hi, Vogue. It's Paris.
I'm gonna make Sliving Strawberry Heart-Shaped Cake.
But first, we're gonna start with a Cosmo.
Vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, and a lime.
Two ounces of vodka. One, two.
I was just performing in Central Park for Pride.
I used to travel over 250 days out of the year
and DJ several times a week.
But now that I'm a mom, I'm saying no to so many things
because I would rather be at home with my baby.
But it's still fun.
Special occasions.
I'm squeezing the lime in here.
Now it's time to shake it.
[ice rattling]
Time to pour.
And I always like to add a touch of Sliving.
So we're gonna get some edible glitter, neon pink glitter.
[gasp] Oh, oops. This one.
[gasp] A little of this one.
Oh, that one looks cool.
That's probably too much glitter, so don't do that much.
But this is more just for the vibes.
Now, for dessert,
I'm gonna make a Sliving Strawberry Heart-Shaped Cake.
We have the strawberry cake mix, vanilla jello,
some sour cream, eggs, and vegetable oil.
And now we're gonna mix all the ingredients together.
Some cake mix.
I love going on TikTok
and just seeing all the videos of people
wearing all my iconic looks
and just how much they've been influenced by my style.
One of my favorite things about the early 2000s
was the fashion.
Everything from the low rise jeans to the velour tracksuits,
my iconic 21st birthday dress.
If I was a dress, I would be that dress.
It's just everything.
I didn't have a stylist.
My sister and I would just go shopping.
My mom would get so mad sometimes
and be like, What are you wearing?
Now that she's been looking on TikTok and the runways
and everywhere else, she's like,
Oh, you were actually very ahead of your time.
Yep, told you, Mom.
I'm gonna take this over to the mixer on the low setting.
Let's pour this in the pan. So cute.
All right, smells so good. It's heavy.
Just gonna get that all out
and then use spatula to even it all out.
Now it's kind to put it in the oven.
And then I'll bake that for 45 minutes
or until the edges are golden.
But now that the cake is baked and cooled,
time to do a big reveal.
Beautiful.
When I was on The Simple Life,
Nicole and I worked at this fast food restaurant
called Sonic.
Nicole and I dressed up
in the like Sonic mascot costumes.
We were like these giant cups
with the word Sonic on it, big eyes.
And then we got bored.
So we walked across the street to try
and go shopping in those outfits.
It was pretty hilarious.
Now time for some sprinkles.
They're cute. It was some rainbow stars.
Sprinkle them everywhere.
And I almost forgot. Always an extra touch of Sliving.
Loves it.
So now I'm gonna cut myself a slice.
This looks so good.
Oh God, I can't believe this is the first time
I've ever made this.
Look at how pink that is. So pretty.
So good.
Thank you, Vogue.
I had so much fun Sliving in the kitchen with you.
I'm gonna finish eating this cake,
but I'll see you guys soon.
Keep Sliving. That's hot.
