I'm gonna go down.

[Woman Behind Camera] Yeah, do it.

Give us some of your moves.

Ooh, save that for the show.

[laughing]

[glamorous music]

We are in [in french accent] Paris.

I don't know if that's how you say it,

but how you say it?

[in french accent] Paris?

I'm performing for the LVMH Olympic Pre-Party event.

So I'm very excited I'm gonna meet Pharrell.

Literally my mom messaged me

and she said, tell Pharrell I love him.

I haven't performed in a while, so it's gonna be very fun.

I mean the Olympics, it doesn't happen all the time.

So I'm so happy that I'm able to be here around this time.

It's so special, it's in Paris,

it's literally gonna be in the river.

[glamorous music]

So for skin, this is what I'm thinking.

Very sporty, like you worked out kind of flushed

almost like you sweated.

That's always the direction.

Fresh face like makeup,

but it shouldn't look like I have a lot of makeup.

Wanna make her look like she's worked out in the clothes.

Yeah.

A little bit, but still came out glamorous.

Came out glamorous.

Outfit change 'cause it's boiling.

Paris was literally my dream place to ever go.

Like me and my siblings used to share a bunk bed

and I painted my bunk bed like the Eiffel Tower,

the lock bridge.

You just hear everything and I got in so much trouble.

But I've literally always wanted to come.

This year it's literally been insane.

Like all of the opportunities that have come to me.

Grammy, Met Gala,

I dropped my first album ever, debut album called

Tyla's Doing So Well.

I'm a very private person, so getting used to the world

knowing who I am.

I'm just getting used to all of that

and getting comfortable with all of that.

But I feel blessed, I feel excited for the future.

So I'm wearing Louis Vuitton today,

I'm wearing the leather soccer jersey,

which I'm in love with,

but I'm wearing a track suit to the carpet.

So I don't know, I think it's gonna be cool.

[glamorous music]

[Lee] It is the pre-opening,

so we're gonna go really sporty,

giving kind of gold medal, but with a Tyla twist.

We also wanna give power.

We wanna give those bold accessories.

We wanna give bold footwear, elevate

that sport era for Tyla.

'cause I don't think people have seen her like this yet.

[Tyla] With styling, it's kind of like very collaborative.

I send references to my stylist, they pull that

and they pull other stuff

and in the room I just pick, put things together

and then yeah, we have fun.

[Lee] The inspiration here was obviously Olympic,

obviously sport, and obviously gold.

I started back home in South Africa.

I used to post a lot of like covers.

And I used to enter like singing competitions.

There used to be these apps where you could win money.

Anything that I could do, I would do.

And yeah, I would just record music every weekend.

[glamorous music]

It is good, after the Tabasco.

Initially it was a bit bland.

If it's bad Tabasco will save it.

Like I'm telling you now.

So, thank you Tabasco.

[laughing]

The fan is blowing right against me.

Yeah, we got a bit tired so we gonna chill.

Ready for my closeup.

[speaking french]

Is that good?

[Woman Behind Camera] Yeah.

Merci, I'm French by the way.

[laughing behind camera]

The theme for the party tonight is metal worthy.

So gold always come first.

I'm just a gold girl.

I don't like, I like silver sometimes, but gold is my color.

[glamorous music]

So I used to not be able to do makeup

and then when I went on the Under The Influence tour,

I literally had to learn and now I'm a professional.

[pop music]

Yeah.

[pop music]

How don't you look ever? Perfect.

Okay, we haven't decided on shoes yet.

So what I wanna do is pop these on

and then really adorn the ankles with even more gold.

So we just go a little bit

more because you're winning tonight.

You see you're a three.

This is hot.

[Woman Behind Camera] It's gorgeous.

I feel metal worthy.

[laughing]

This is the first time I'm wearing men's wears to a carpet.

Something. So chill.

Like a gold?

[Lee] I really like these.

[Tyla] I usually don't like chokers,

but this one show stopper.

Olympics, sporty.

[Lee] Winning the gold.

Yes.

If rings don't fit, stuff 'em in.

[Lee] Voila.

[Tyla] One day I'm gonna arrive

onto a red carpet with my hair like this.

I don't know, maybe we take a picture and you take it.

[Lee] Okay.

Because hey, when we put it down it might slay.

[Hairstylist] We should take it out so we can see

and shape it.

[Woman Behind Camera] Lemme take a picture.

Since I can't go on the carpet.

[Tyla] I'm excited to get on stage

and rock up the crowd.

[Woman Behind Camera] It's giving, like, LL Cool J.

Good morning Paris

[glamorous music]

I'm gonna go down.

I'm gonna go down.

[Woman Behind Camera] Yeah, do it.

Give us some of your moves.

Ooh, save that for the show.

[upbeat music]
