YSL Beauty Hosted The Sweetest Party in Soho To Fete Its Candy Glaze Collection
YSL Beauty is known for many things—rich colognes for men (hello, Y eau de parfum, and the latest debut, MYSLF), skin-enhancing complexion salves (looking at you Touche Eclat), and eyelash volumizing mascaras (we love you Lash Clash). But of its buzziest cosmetics, it is its lip collection that rises to the top of the conversation—notably, its Candy Glaze hues.
Best described as a lip gloss stick, this assortment of high-shine jellies delivers high-octane, non-sticky shine with the nourishment of a balm via ingredients like hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and mango oils. The product is beloved for not just how it feels on the lips, but its modern, stunning range of shades. From a versatile clear-pink to a rich sheer brown, there is truly something for everyone and every look. To round out the Candy Glaze lineup, the brand is introducing two new shades: Watermelon High, a warm rose, and Nude Lavalliere, a pinkish nude sure to satisfy any beauty lover.
To celebrate the occasion, what's sweeter than a party in Soho? Last night, many of fashion and beauty's hottest made their way inside the YSL Beauty Candy Club. Inside, partygoers like Nicole Richie, Lila Moss, and Precious Lee could check out the new shades IRL and get a first look at another commemorative launch—Make Me Blush Bold Blush Powder, available in baby pinks, plums, berries, and peaches equally as yummy as the gloss sticks.
Paloma Elsesser and Gabriette took a moment at the beauty bar where they could pick out their favorite hues and get a bottle or two engraved. Hari Nef and Meredith Duxbury nibbled on gummy candies while mingling with friends, all before guests found out they were in for a sweet surprise. The night culminated with a bass-bumping performance by Ke$ha, who took to the stage to perform hits like "Blow" and "Tik Tok," which certainly got the crowd dancing, fist-pumping, and singing along.
While the night had to come to an end, the Candy Club pop-up is open for one day only on Friday, February 7 for the public to immerse itself into YSL Beauty's candy world.
